Sometimes I wish I could remember how Hermione and Ron looked in my imagination before actors were cast as them in the movies. I’ve totally forgotten, and while re-reading the books, I imagine these guys. Oh well. Ron and Hermione have been my favorite couple for about a decade now. Especially the version of the couple that lived in my imagination.

This picture inexplicably alarms me. Something about the textures makes me think of old age. That baby blue blanket. It reminds me of a life someone in a retirement home might live, where everything is peaceful and the day goes by slowly and you’re just waiting for the end…
